La Llosa is an under water reef, an extension of Benidorm Island.

The top of the reef starts at 6 metres, where the boat anchors on one of only four designated anchorages. If you swim east from anchor the wall drops straight down to 26-40 metres, the deepest part of the reef. During your dive you will see an amazing amount of marine life. On the wall, it is not unusual to see the Vaquita Suiza (Peltodoris atromaculata), one of the nicest Mediterranean nudibranches.

On arrival to the wall’s base, swimming towards the east, you can pass through the Cueva de la Virgen, with entry and exit points.

The amazing underwater landscape, the plentiful fauna and the almost always clear waters are perfect for underwater photography. During the dive, it is easy to see conger eels, morays, lobster and even observe the amazing beauty of the monkfish, as well as little manta rays and shoals of barracudas.

La Llosa is a marine conservation area, take only photos and leave only bubbles.

Diving this site is only possible via a boat; there are many dive centres in the area that will take you to this site.
